Since 2018, I have developed my knowledge and skills to offer you an optimal dog training experience. I began my journey at Petco, where I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. As the senior dog trainer, I educated the community about pet ownership and wildlife care. I primarily trained a curriculum-style class in a group setting. I taught over a hundred classes ranging from puppy basics to advanced adult curriculums. Additionally, I’ve trained and certified many Puppy S.T.A.R. and Canine Good Citizen dogs at Petco for the American Kennel Club.
It was after working at Petco that I began to develop Dog Training with Craig. I began working one-on-one with numerous families and their dogs so that I could expand my experience in various situations. This learning stage made it really clear that dogs are free-thinking beings, and their ability to learn can be greatly impacted by their
quality of life.
Shortly afterwards, I started working at a doggy-daycare and boarding company called Camp Bow Wow in Bloomfield. I managed large groups of dogs, I did grooming and bathing services, I obtained a certificate of completion for Cat and Dog First Aid through the Red Cross, and oversaw first-aid for the dogs at CBW. With such a large variety of breeds and different-sized dogs coming into camp every day, I was really able to study canine body language and communication in depth. Engaging with various temperaments and understanding their psychology became imperative to effectively manage large group of dogs.
A few months into working at CBW, I collaborated with the owner, Bill Robelen to establish an environment where dogs, parents, and staff can feel safe and cared for at CBW. Not only do we train families and their dogs at camp, but I also help train the staff on how to effectively read canine body language and manage dog behavior in group settings.
I took all of these experiences and created the courses and classes you see before you today. These include Fundamentals to Training and Dogs, Loose Leash Workshop, Advanced Training, AKC certifications, Scent Work, Public Manners, Off-Leash Training, and MORE! With these tools, you will have the ability to be the most effective trainer for your dog. From modifying unwanted dog behaviors to increasing your dog's mental capacity, these courses and classes have something for you to learn.

My journey began with a profound fascination for understanding animals, and the
proper care and basic knowledge to ensure their well-being. Having this passion since I
was young influenced me to be a member of the Agricultural program in my High
School. Here, I acquired a strong foundation for animal behavior and handling, as well
as hands-on experience with a variety of animals. Since the beginning of my High
School journey, I also began volunteering at a local dog rescue where I was able to
begin applying my learned skills from the agricultural program, and gain experience
handling dogs of all different sizes and backgrounds. At the end of my high school
journey after graduation, I began working at Camp Bow Wow Bloomfield where I
became the manager and continued to have the privilege of working with dogs of
various breeds, sizes, and personalities in a group play environment to grasp a further
understanding of canine behavior and beneficial handling techniques. This opportunity
expanded my knowledge by introducing me on how to observe canine behavior within a
pack, and facilitate positive social interactions.
After these amazing experiences and wanting to continue my passion for animal
training and care, I began going to school to acquire my bachelor's degree in animal
health and behavior. In this program, I acquired a great deal of knowledge regarding
aspects of animal behavior and the philosophy behind it. Additionally, I have received the
AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator title, which solidified my dedication to
promoting responsible pet ownership, canine training, and well-being.
